Excellent article, JoAn...Totally sharing this one! Excellent article, JoAnne! My grandmother used to say to me (almost daily), "Kathey, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Unfortunately, I was never very good at following her admonition! I am finally seeing, though, that we've become a very opinionated and critical society. And our young people have very low self esteem, as a result. And very little respect for others. Another truism is that you can't respect others if you don't respect yourself. And on a higher plain, it's obvious that as a society, we no longer respect God. And we are paying dearly for that.
